ABOUT US
WHERE WE BEGAN
Plumber Lumber LLC is located in the Pineland Sands of North Central Minnesota, an area known for its forests and lakes. Owners, Mike & Jen, grew up near Hackensack and have the woods and water ingrained in their souls. They harvest their own timber from their well treed acreage. Using the trees’ natural forms and colors, the less "plumb" the better, they let their imaginations run while letting the wood’s natural shape and form help decide its use.
A BUSINESS BORN
As Mike & Jen started to create with wood, many of their friends and relatives suggested that they start a business. Considering they already had a plumbing business it made the idea seem redundant. Years went by and they continued to make items from what the forest provided and finally realized it was time to make the joy of their work (and the joy it brings others) into an official business. In 2021 Plumber Lumber LLC was born and registered!
ONGOING INTENT
One of Mike & Jen's own sayings is "The true genius of a tree is the ability to sculpt light into solid form". They continue to work to showcase each tree's talent and demonstrate the beauty and value to be found in all trees, beauty beyond the biological benefits. They hope you enjoy this natural beauty and their craftsmanship for many years to come.
