This fantastic piece is built around the rooty bottom of a small aspen tree that was part of a nurse forest next to our home that sheltered plum and chokecherry trees while they were young.    Some of the support comes from twisted branches that we have collected through the years cutting firewood near our house.  The shelves themselves are remnant live edge slabs that a friend harvested from the woods near his house just south of Birch Lake.  The piece is fastened with screws and capped with plugs from the same material.  Not recommended for rowdy environments.

Finished in water-based polyurethane.  $730
